Making Fun of ESPN is Too Easy

This article from Phil Mushnick (who I rarely agree with) in the NY Post just cracked me up. Apparently during the Marco Scutaro walk-off homerun against Mariano Rivera, ESPN put up a graphic stating, "This was the 4th Walk-off Homerun given up by Mariano Rivera in his career. All 4 have been on the road." Hmm, really? Wait don't all......hmm.....?
A graphic noted that this was the fourth "walk-off" home run Rivera has allowed in his career. And then the all-sports network's graphic further noted that all four "have come on the road." How's that for a coincidence! Of course, the only sports-minded people who wouldn't realize that all "walk-off" hits are the results of pitches thrown by visiting team pitchers - the road team's pitchers - work at ESPN. Once again, ESPN out-slicked itself.
God I wish I had seen that live (and had video). Too funny.
