Arrows + Boats + Flying Fish = Rather Entertaining

Since there was no Basketball last night you can prepare yourself for a day of videos. First up is a clip of a new "Sport" called Bowfishing.....

Here's the question. If the fish are already jumping out of the water....why don't you just drive the boat underneath them and/or catch them with nets? The spear/arrow seems a little much to me.
