Gatorade is apparently sponsoring a movie about Soccer, and it looks to be pretty entertaining (if not JUST like Bend it like Beckham). The company plans on advertising the production on it's 15-bottle packages, and will add an instructional DVD with Mia Hamm and others. That's not the best part. Producing and starring in the feature is Melrose Place's own
The $10 million movie, based on experiences of the Shue family growing up in New Jersey, follows a girl in her quest to join a competitive all-male soccer team after the death of her brother, its star player. It's rated PG-13 for "brief sexual content."Ummm, PG-13 has sexual content now??? Kids are growing up so fast these days. If you were too young for Melrose Place just think Desperate Housewives mixed with the OC.
(P.S.- The movie will also star another 80s favorite
