Aikman Responds To The Notion That He's "Pro-Cowboys"

Written by Brian Powell on .

Early this morning, Barry Horn of the Dallas Morning News talked with Troy Aikman about the notion that he's biased when calling Cowboys' games. The ex-Dallas QB, and current FOX analyst, seemingly took the high road on the whole issue and had this to say back to Boomer....
"Well, I'm glad Boomer is watching the NFL on Fox. I take great pride in not showing a bias towards any team that I am broadcasting and I'm confident the teams that I have covered over the last eight seasons would agree that I've been balanced and fair with my coverage. Also, I never much got into critiquing other quarterbacks when I played and I don't get too wrapped up in critiquing broadcasters now."
Again, I don't necessarily think that he would do so on purpose, but he definitely caters more to the 'Boys over any other team. Hopefully he'll at least take notice now, and pay just a little more attention when he calls their games. As far as Joe Buck.....he might be a lost cause at this point.
