"And if you're a Bronco fan...you gotta do something to turn the field position" -Mike Mayock. Uh, how does a fan do that?
From earlier today during Lions-Panthers: "That's Tony Scheffler's 5th touchdown of the game, 2nd only to Calvin Johnson...." Obviously, Dick Stockton meant 'on the season.'
Solomon Wilcots: "Hugh Jackson told us the offense in their system is built around the quarterback."
I was about to post the Simms' comment as well. We will have to forgive him as he is the same guy who thinks his son Matt is a competent college QB.
Billick, in all seriousness, just said that a 49er o-lineman has an extra 30-50 lbs of tape on his ankles that he has to move around with
Thom Brennaman and Fox working closely together...Brennaman identifies Kendall Hunter (49ers) as having played college ball at Mississippi State. Then Fox immediately pops a graphic that says he played at Oklahoma. Brennaman then blows his opportunity for the Hat Trick by correctly identifying that Hunter played at Oklahoma State...I guess 1/3 is pretty good for Fox and this crew...
"Interesting receiving corps they have here in Dallas" - Phil Simms (It's Chicago...not even sure how you make that mistake.)
"Interesting receiving corps they have here in Dallas." Phil Simms, calling the San Diego-Chicago game.
