CBS Brings Back Luther Vandross' 'One Shining Moment'

Written by Brady Green on .

Good news
, everyone! The USA Today reports that CBS has decided to bring back the Luther Vandross version of One Shining Moment, scrapping Jennifer Hudson's version after just one year. This whole One Shining Moment controversy has been very new cokeish in my opinion, they messed around with something that didn't need to be changed in the first place. So, after VCU cuts down the nets Monday night, we can all look forward to pretending that we just got something caught in our eyes as one of our old favorites returns to officially end college basketball season.

The coverage of the Cutler injury upsets me the most. Fox did not really care to show us any replays of what might of happened. The attacks on Jay right now is a result of poor information from the Bears and bad TV coverage by Fox.

If Rodgers went out with a knee injury we would see nothing but replays of the hit(s). Anyone else notice that Buck/Aikmen were praising Rodgers for his tackle of Urlacher after he threw a bad red zone pick.... What is that?

I'm a Bears fan and may be biased in my review, but Fox was really really bad tonight and showed a strong rooting interest for the Pack.

Fox put on a pathetic performance in today's game. Barely a comment from Buck/Aikman over the bizarre Bears decision to punt instead of attempting a 48 yeard field goal, not a word or even a replay when Forte picked up the fumble and the whistle blew. We only found out that it was blown dead because you can't advance a fumble other than the ball carrier inside 2 minutes from the internet, certainly not from Fox who replayed the fumble 3 times but NOT the recovery at all. How about explaining that obscure rule instead of having half your audience scratching their heads? Flat-out terrible anaysis of all the questionable penalties on both sides of the ball. What a failure, and now we get to be treated to this garbage on Super Bowl Sunday.

CBS is slaugthering Fox today with their superb coverage of the Steelers-Jets.
