I listen to Colin Cowherd(I know, I know, publicly I am not suppose to admit that)...I enjoy his rants(some of them) and his Spanning the Globe. Other than that, he's a typical radio blowhard...but REALLY??? A sitcom?? The show would be more interesting if it included Cowherd's racism. Cowherd is a "liberal racist" so the poor bastard doesn't even know he's a racist. But Nick Herd's clueness-ness would make his lines so more funny. He doesn't get that he doesn't get it.

@Nikita: I wouldn't describe Cowherd as a liberal racist, but definitely a sometimes racist. One day he is lecturing his listeners on race and bigotry, and the next day he is making off-color comments himself. CBS needs some very clever writers if they are going to make this sitcom work. I see potential. Maybe Cowherd should of shopped his script to ABC or NBC where the writing would of been more provocative.

"Nick: You know, every day, I go in that booth, and for four hours, I'm right about everything. Common sense rules- no emotional stuff, just logic.
Doug: You are the king.
Nick: Exactly. People call in from all over the country to tell me how right I am! And on that rare occasion when somebody doesn't ...(Mimes pressing a button) Boop! They're gone."

That told me this "script" HAS to be a prank, a parody of some kind, if only because even Cowherd has to realize "disdainful of his fans" isn't a trait you endow your Mary Sue with.
