The official Pammies Open Thread will go live Saturday morning at 10 AM, but you can also tweet submissions until then by tweeting us @awfulannouncing and including #PWAA in your tweet. It promises to be a great year ahead!
H/T to Brian Finley for sending us the clip!
How can this be the full list when it doesn't include the ACC Regional Network announcers, which were listed as TBA on ESPN's list of games. Not even 1/3 of the games are listed here.
@DanielOrmsby ACC Regional Network announcers were added: James Madison at North Carolina (3:30PM ACC Network (Regional)/GamePlan/ESPN3) Rich Waltz, Keith Jones, Jenn Hildreth
What other (televised, non-Patriot league) games do you think are missing here?
Thursday- Altitude (ESPN3)/ 9 PM/ Bowling Green at Idaho; Saturday- FiOS 1 Metro DC- 6 PM- Davidson at Georgetown; Saturday- Time Warner El Paso- 9 PM- Stony Brook at UTEP@Packey
@Packey The answer for announcers for Bowling Green at Idaho on Altitude is Rich Winter and Brant Boyer.
Other two games are down as TBA at all other sites, but here is one that had that game. (http://www.footballfoundation.org/nff/story/3305/2011-tv-schedule-week-1).
@DanielOrmsby Well, I appreciate you trying to help and keeping us on our toes.
@Packey When I said 1/3 of the games, there were actually about 12 games I saw that weren't listed. I mentioned the ACC Regional one because I felt it was the most important one, but others like the Southland Conference TV Network game weren't on the schedule at that time. When I came back to respond after you asked which games weren't posted, only those 3 remained, and I apologize, but when I was thinking of Georgetown, I was thinking of them being in the Big East like they are for basketball, so I apologize for my goof with the Davidson at Georgetown game.
@DanielOrmsby When announcers for D1 games become available, we'll add them. We don't typically put D1AA Patriot league games on this schedule (and I went to Davidson). I don't think we missed 2/3 of the games, like you suggested, though.
You forgot that Kent State vs. Alabama is SEC Network at 11:21 Central/12:21pm Eastern with Dave Neal et al.
