A lot of times, funny stuff happens on live TV when you’re covering the same event for 243 consecutive hours.  Men start attacking other men for getting pedicures.  Average NFL prospects turn into surefire Hall of Famers.  Old men start frothing at the mouth and yell at you through the TV screen.

But, basic counting is usually something that doesn’t get mixed up by on-air personalities.  Unless… you’re Herm Edwards during Day 3 of ESPN’s NFL Draft coverage.  The Redskins surprising selection of Michigan St. QB Kirk Cousins (after selecting Baylor QB RG3 #2 overall) certainly left many of ESPN’s talking heads scratching their, well, heads.  A helpful graphic then showed the congested Redskins QB situation. There’s RG3, Rex Grossman, John Beck, and Kirk Cousins… except somewhere Herm seems to think there is a mysterious 5th QB that nobody else can see.  It’s times like this where The Count should pop up on screen and help Herm through.  One Redskins quarterbacks ah ah ah… Two Redskins quarterbacks ah ah ah.
