Let's see what cutting edge reporting First Take and SportsCenter are doing today...

Oh... you mean they're wishing Tim Tebow a Happy 25th birthday. And talking about TebowMania. And whether or not Tim Tebow has the "it" factor. I... I guess that's not really "cutting edge" or "reporting" at all now, isn't it. Hmpf.
Well, maybe if I turn it on ESPN and the respected journalistic entity that is SportsCenter, I'll find something new. Something, relevant perhaps. Maybe even something interesting.

Nope. There's Sal Paolantonio. Talking about the Jets. Again. And the Wildcat. Again. Sigh.
@awfulannouncing Has an at best 8-8 team, with a terrible starting QB, terrible backup QB and bad coach ever gotten this much attention?
First Take's new on-air overlays painfully reminds me of MSNBC -- another reason not to watch.
@awfulannouncing I almost feel like making fun of First Take is as redundant as First Take's Tebow obsession, at this point.
@awfulannouncing Just the usual 20 mins of in-depth analysis of preseason NFL games, followed by "but its preseason so it doesn't matter"
@awfulannouncing First Take's a fun, opinion-based show. I assume you'll be ripping the Dan Patrick Show for not covering Loomis next?
@BaylessDefender @awfulannouncing Add in that the Dan Patrick show is such a bore. Not surprised white critic media guys enjoy it.
@Jcsteel @awfulannouncing The Dan Patrick Show is a bore, agreed. The rinky-dink set is so low budget and shoddy-looking, too.
This is sickening, and Sal Pal was on Mike and Mike this morning and said people liked the Jets coverage, I call BS. ESPN has become such a joke, good for NBC and CBS to get their networks going at least they talk about all the NFL teams.
@PaulPabst there was a report on Darren Sproles sitting out a preseason game labeled as "more Saints woes" if that counts.
