Mike Francesa channels former partner Chris Russo with psychotic rant
Yesterday on WFAN in New York, Mike Francesa went on one of the best radio rants you'll ever hear about the current pathetic state of the New York Mets. I've never heard anything this crazed and sustained over ten minutes from Francesa as he tears into the team and compares manager Terry Collins to Rich Kotite. Ouch. Somebody must have spiked Francesa's Diet Coke.
Good Lord, just imagine if the Astros played in New York. While that clip is radio gold, it still falls just behind the defnitive Mike & The Mad Dog rant from Chris Russo after the Giants exited the 2003 NL playoffs. Maybe the rant above was Mike's way of secretly reaching out to the ghost of his former partner.
LMAO! Francesa needs to lay off the Amp and Monster. On second thought, no, let him go! As a Cardinals fan, there's a warmth in my heart when the Mets implode.
