This is becoming something of a tradition around these parts, so what better way to summarize Chris Berman's football play by play debut than another edition of Real Tweets from Real People. From what I saw, Berman was much more subdued than I imagined. It was like he was shot with a bear tranquilizer before the game. But, there were still enough bad puns and flubs for everyone's enjoyment. For the record, Trent Dilfer was almost as insufferable as Berman in the booth with his preseason hyperbole and weird analogies. But, Dilfer hasn't quite reached the level of feedback Chris Berman gets on Twitter… nobody has. As long as ESPN is putting Chris Berman in the booth it's serving his interests before fans.
