Team USA defeated Canada 4-3 in the best game of the 2012 Olympics and perhaps all of 2012 in the semifinials of the women's soccer tournament. The USA trailed three times in the second half and came back to tie the score each time. Then, in the dying seconds of extra time Alex Morgan scored to give the USA a 4-3 victory. It was such a stunning victory and stunning goal, the New York Times can't be blamed for getting the final score slightly askew.
