Here's Shaquille O'Neal giving Kenny Smith a piggyback ride
If you could sum up the unique qualities of Inside the NBA in just a couple moving pictures, it has to be Kenny Smith riding Shaquille O'Neal around the Turner studio. I'm not sure what the explanation is for this Thursday night piggyback ride, including Kenny Smith spanking Shaq to aid his giddy up, but maybe there doesn't need to be one. Maybe we just need to sit in awe of one of the more surreal scenes we've seen this year. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever see Magic Johnson doing this with Bill Simmons over on ESPN.
I just hope this episode with Kenny Smith works out better for Shaq than the last time he was part of a nationally televised piggyback ride.

Just another reason why TNT has the best studio show in sports. I don't think I've ever watched a segment without cracking a smile. These guys enjoy each other and they love their sport. Best chemistry in sports television.
Let us not forget Charles Barkley telling us all that Abraham Lincoln is his favourite president, even more than Obama. Because if it weren't for Abe, he would be calling Ernie "boss".
