Everett, Levy, and Flores are my favorite. Flores is probably the funniest anchor without forcing anything. I'm glad they didnt break up Everett and Verrett
Interesting pairings. I, too, am a big fan of the Jay Harris-John Anderson pairing. I don't know about Jay Crawford as anchor, he's been doing "First Take" for so long I have a hard time picturing him trying to play it straight as an anchor.
Jonathan Coachman and Michael Kim have also subbed as moderators on "First Take." They even had Jemele Hill and, horror of horrors, Rob Parker as moderator a couple of times. I don't know if any of those four will get the job (or if they even want it).
Jay Crawford will be terrible as an anchor. Jay Harris doesn't get the love because he doesn't do shtick which is too bad. He's one of the few I like as well. Stan Verret is pretty good too. Why is Stu Scott still on? Mindboggling.
Man, I couldn't disagree more about Bucci, though him being on at night means I'll see him less. He is a master of awkward pauses, especially during highlights. Something happened to him when he ditched the glasses, and I don't know what. Everybody else is looking good, though. As always, I wish SVP would pick up more hours, but he's got the show so I understand.
