Everyone had Tim Tebow throwing an 80 yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime for a Broncos victory over the Steelers, right? In spite of all the Broncos' heroics this season, that kind of finish was miraculous even by Tim Tebow's standards. And this touchdown from Tebow to Thomas came in the first ever game of the new overtime rules in the NFL. Thank goodness Phil Simms didn't have to explain that at length to us. Here's the video of TEBOW TIME...
After his season and all the media scrutiny and everything revolving around TebowMania, I'm legitimately happy for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. That was a cool moment and an amazing play made by Demaryius Thomas that shouldn't go unrecognized. I'm not going to let Skip Bayless' trolling ruin what is a great sports story and neither should you. Enjoy it (unless you're a Steelers fan that is).
Next Saturday night, Tebow and the Broncos travel to New England to face the Patriots in what may be the highest rated non Super Bowl in league history.
Hey, he is listening to my offer of boxes of Tastycakes in order to stop calling Phillies games.. http://lehighvalleywithlove.com/post/15675787796/joe-buck-listens-to-my-offer-of-tastycakes-for-him-to
I like Joe Buck. I appreciate his sarcasm and I like his style. Not everyone is Gus Johnson - I'd much rather him be real than be fake and disingenuous. I think, like many, that he is much better at football. But, he shouldn't be criticized just because he has a different style than others.
If you think Joe Buck is an oddity, you should consider that he may or may not have a thing for Troy Aikman, too. No joke, I'm not the only one to see it. Check this out.
