Jose Mota spawns a new cliche in failing with this old saying
Jose Mota has worked for the past decade as a Spanish and English language announcer for the Angels. Mota is one of the most versatile announcers in sports, calling games as both an analyst and a play by play man in both languages. He's also been seen working for Fox's regional MLB coverage. As skilled as Jose is with both languages, he ran into a bit of trouble trying to use an "old saying" before an Angels game at Oakland this week.
And, besides that is the fact, that you know, the old saying goes, "play good enough until last out until also something good happens for you."
Even Tim McCarver is having a hard time figuring out what this old saying actually means...
