Labor Day isn't really close to Memorial Day, but the effort to spread a little holiday cheer has to be worth something.  I'd hate to see the reactions on the faces of small children at the mall when Metta shows up as the Easter Bunny on Christmas though. 

This is going to be an interesting Lakers offseason.
