Dick Stockton was once a great announcer, but in the last several years he's become notable for botching player names and game situations while continuing to get high profile NFL, MLB, and NBA assignments. It happens, not all announcers can keep their fastball in the latter stages of their career. But, as the following classic clip from the 1996 Slam Dunk Contest shows, Dick Stockton was having trouble with names long, long ago.
