Terrell Owens begs the Jets for a chance on Twitter
Written by Matt Yoder on .

Terrell Owens, last seen playing for the prestigious Allen Wranglers, has now taken to openly begging the New York Jets for a chance on Twitter. The man that once was one of the most outspoken, fearsome wide recievers in all of pro football, the man that defiantly stood on the Cowboys star, the man who did sit ups in his own driveway, that T.O. has now become the NFL's equivalent of Jose Canseco. It's actually... kinda sad...
Hey JETS!!! I'm available! I'm ready, willing & able! Call my agent @jordanwoy & let's make it happen.

At least this tweet will give ESPN even more Jets-related content. ZOMG COULD YOU EVEN IMAGINE TEBOW & T.O. ON THE SAME TEAM!!!! I just wonder what LeBron James has to say about the whole thing.
@ ramone .. they should have gone with matt flynn as soon as he got over that preseason injury thing Wilson does not have the all around abilities that Flynn has ,
Did Anybody see in the TBS MLB Postgame show last night, when there were making fun of this???
David WellsSaid you coud always work at Mcdonald's, what??? Mcdonald's is a pretty decent job, i worked there when i was younger.
he is bad juju for any team that takes a chance on him he has abilities as far as playing go but the other stuff like his ego and braggadocio are counter productive at best down right suicide in the worst scenarios . He is utterly incapable of admitting he has issues and while there may be T in the word team you cannot spell it with the letters T.O. If you try you end up with TrOuble.
Seattle shouldn't have let him go. They actually need a deep threat for Russell Wilson to go to.
The Seahawks have everything else going EXCEPT for the deep passing game. We have the #1 defense in the NFL., and we have running back Marshawn Lynch, who could be the league MVP when the season is over. Our special teams have held their own. Now it's all about getting the air game going, so we can mix it up a bit more. If we develop a consistent deep threat, the Seahawks are a Super Bowl contender THIS YEAR!
T.O. proved in the preseason that he can still get separation with ease; he just dropped the ball one too many times at the goal line.
If Pete Carroll was sincere when he said that he'd invite T.O. back, he might as well do it now. I am convinced that T.O. still has game. He and Golden Tate would create openings for each other and make Seattle very dangerous.
@RamoneDeCurta seattle does have a deep threat... its golden tate. their problem is they dont have a line to hold a pocket long enough for the rookie to throw it. They are no where near being superbowl contenders. Too many mistakes on offense, mainly on the line. Sucks to have such a good defence and no offence. Time for Flynn to take control
I'm glad TO wants to play. Perhaps with yet another chance he may do really well. The Jets could use him.
If the Jets don't sign....Kansas City,,,,,,,can use a talent like his.....The man has a past...so what...Let he without sin throw the first stone".....I am sure whatever team signs him...will tell him..one on field or off action that brings embarassment to the team... your gone...no pay no team out the door....If you become a success everybody winds.....................

@MikeAnderson uhm... have you ever seen Tebow throw? if you have and you think he is a quality QB, then you know sqaut about football.

lol.. dude, you're a clown. I will end this proving you know nothing of football. I could care less what his college stats are, they mean nothing in the NFL. if he is such a great QB then why did Denver let him go?? I'll tell you why, because he can't pass genius! I gave you too much credit calling you a 10 year old, I think you're actually 8 now? ...or at least the IQ of an 8 year old.
lol!! I have no problem with Tebow... as long as he is on the bench watching the game. he has heart yes, but he can't pass for sh*t! that one lone pass last night was on the money, I agree... but when he plays an entire game 80% of his passes are completely off target! sure he can scramble, but that will only get him so far in the NFL, and that's why Elway didn't want him, it has nothing to do with him liking him or not.... he's just NOT a quality NFL QB.
lol... that's what I get for trying to reason with a 10 year old who knows absolutely nothing about football.
what's really sad are these pathetic comments by , no doubt...pathetic ass mofo's (article's author included), who get off on kicking people when they are seemingly "down", in order to make themselves feel better. <---wait...i just described 90 % of the general public in america...wow. indeed. and a fan of terrell owens i am not.

Wow Mike-sounds like you have issues with homosexuals. Odd that you go with the gay insults, maybe you lack some confidence in your own sexuality-or perhaps thou protest too much. We see that in a lot of closeted conservative public figures. "If I rant enough, no one might suspect I'm gay".
@awfulannouncing shouldn't he wait until the game is over when someone on the Jets might see it?
@JudeCostaNC9 @awfulannouncing EXACTLY! It was just a tweet while watching a game. If u don't know the veracity of a story, don't report it!
@awfulannouncing All of his QBs have sucked in his mind, he has put them thru hell, and now he wants to play with Mark Sanchez?
@awfulannouncing I don't know what's sadder: the begging, or the begging to be part of the Jets. What, the Browns weren't an option?
@awfulannouncing Terrell has 25 Million reasons to call the #Jets. Not one of them is a good one.
