Your Week 5 NFL Announcing Schedule

butt2

It's quite an interesting week on the NFL scheduling front.  Thanks to the A's playoff game on Saturday night, Chargers-Raiders is moved from a 4 ET kickoff on CBS to an 11:35 ET kickoff on NFL Network.  CBS's Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts will still call the game.  Another ripple from that move is the fact that Cowboys-Broncos on CBS will now air to 100% of the country in the late afternoon window.

Maybe Fox can loan them their silly America's Game of the Week title for a week.

Your Week 5 NFL Announcing Schedule

This week presents the NFL perfect storm for ESPN's Monday Night Football.  Jon Gruden will try to make lemonade out of both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow (and Matt Schaub, but he's actually good).  With the Jets playing on ESPN, expect to see us go back to the nightmarish days of Jetspalooza this summer.

"This guy Tebow… I tell you Mike, he is the most dynamic Wildcat quarterback in the history of the game.  He'll do anything to help his team wins.  He'll run, pass, catch, block, punt protect, and even tackle if he has to.  He's a leader, a winner, and a champion of the human race.  The intangibles he brings on those 7-10 snaps will change the course of the NFL and the history of the world for the better… "
