Your Week 3 College Football Announcing Schedule

Written by Matt Yoder on .

Week 3 is upon us with an intriguing mix of non-conference and conference games on the agenda.  Pammies leader Matt Millen heads back to Columbia as Mizzou looks to rebound from their SEC debut loss in hosting Arizona State.  There are three matchups of Top 25 teams this week after zero last week.  #18 Florida visits #23 Tennessee (the site of Gameday) at 6 PM ET on ESPN, #21 Stanford plays #2 USC at 7:30 PM ET on Fox, and the ABC primetime game is #20 Notre Dame traveling to East Lansing to play #10 Michigan State.  I just can't wait till all those Fighting Irish quasi-ACC games get shoehorned into primetime television!

I would like to know why Game Day has NEVER come to the Ole Miss campus.  The Texas vs Rebels is the most talked and written about this weekend.  I am a Rebel fan, but Texas fans are flying in so each school is loyal to their teams. People in Oxford are renting out their homes for as much as $20,000 for the weekend.  Lee Corso an the others must be nuts.  As a Rebel, we welcome the Longhorns.  Both teams have class!!

Since when Has Lewis Johnson worked as a sideline reporter for ESPN???

Because i have only seen him work as a sideline reporter or Track and Field Analyst for NBC,Versus, TNT, TBS and during the early rounds of March Madness for CBS!!!

The following updates come hanks to the National Football Foundation. None of these games had the announcers listed in the teams Game Notes, so I had to wait for NFF to publish their list before it could be submitted here.

In addition to the Media-Springfield broadcast, Racer TV Network will carry Murray State at Missouri State. Dave Winder and Josh McKeel will call the action for Racer TV Network.

UC Davis at South Dakota State- Tom Nieman, Hank McCall.

Rhode Island a Villanova- Brent Harris, Brad Jackson.

James Madison vs. West Virginia-  Rob King, Mike Logan,  Amanda Mazey.

One update- SFA at Montana State will have Jeff Ebrie as the sideline reporter instead of A. J. Donatoni.
