Our curiosity with celebrity gossip has spawned quite the monster. Now, getting that one moment with a celeb in their natural habitat has become so valuable that the world's paparazzo and paparazza are willing to sacrifice life and limb in order to pull such feats off.

Or in the case of this poor TMZ correspondent in Washington, D.C., willing to risk immense embarrassment by walking and shooting with no regard for potential traffic cones. When trying to get a fresh (read: controversial) take from Adrian Peterson on homosexuality in the NFL by trying to goad him into combining that with race, the nameless pap went down hard… and the NFL's best running back continued on with about as much regard as he'd have for a juked-out linebacker.

That's cold, AP. But the dude's line of questioning certainly didn't make Peterson want to rush to his aid. He was probably just relieved to escape the ambush.
