The time is here! College football doesn't mean tradition and tailgates and Brent Musburger creepily stalking WAGs in the stands. It means one thing first and foremost - the Pammies!
If you're new to these parts, first of all where have you been? Second of all, the Pam Ward Chronicles are the heart and soul of Awful Announcing going back to the site's founding in 2006.
This is how it'll work every week. First we'll have the comprehensive college football announcing schedule. On Thursday or Saturday we'll then have the Pam Ward Chronicles Open Thread where you can leave your comments on all the best, weirdest, funniest, and awful announcing quotes throughout the day. Make sure to leave the full quote AND the announcer who said it in the comments or tweet us quotes using the hashtag #PWAA. We'll bring you the top quotes for your votes after the week's action has concluded and meet back every week until we crown a winner.
And wouldn't you know, odds on favorite Matt Millen has 2 assignments this week. Full announcing schedule after the jump...

@awfulannouncing yess. cheers to another season
@sir boxington Sir Boxington no i am not, i m just providing information that some of the Followers might be interested in.
@CUbsfan Hey, Cubs fan. You might want to get a towel and wipe that off your chin. It looks as if you have some ESPN dripping down your face.
@CUbsfan Unbelievable. Work one day in Fresno and the next in Berkeley? What a trooper.
@CUbsfanI think you're a little too excited about learning about people's flight itineraries, hoss.
@CUbsfan You don't fly from Columbia, SC to Clemson, SC. Nor Nashville to Louisville. You drive.
BTW, there are ten flights daily between Bowling Green, KY and Nashville to handle the overflow that the 70 mile stretch of I-65 cannot contain. Do you know if they are flying in the morning, afternoon, or evening?
Joe Tessitore will be working the games from Vanderbilt and Louisville with Matt Millen and Sideline Reporter Maria Taylor this weekend too!!!
@CUbsfan @sir boxington And as you can see from the responses you received (none), there is no one interested. Much like this site, the only responses you received were critiques, not "thanks for the info. Now that I see Joe Black is doing the game and how much effort he took to get there, I'm going to watch."
This is a site that critiques announcers and their performance. Nobody cares about the way the four-letter network fills the holes in their weekly schedules.
I would assume most here would prefer no announcers and were just allowed to watch the game.
