The New Jersey Devils are facing the Montreal Canadiens on MSG+, but that's apparently news to the broadcast crew.
During the first period of the game, they threw up the standard ever-present score bug, which as you can see, falsely indentified the Devils as the New York Islanders.
The MSG Network carries Devils and Islanders games (along with the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres), so it's an honest mistake.
Still, it's probably not one the Devils appreciate, considering the Islanders are in last place in the Metropolitan Division.
[Thanks to @Devin88Mattera for bringing it to our attention]
I bet fans of neither team appreciate it, as it serves as a reminder that they're waaaaay down on the totem pole behind the Knicks and Rangers at MSG who don't really care about either of them yet both teams' owners keep taking the Dolans' money when there are two other RSNs in the New York area.
@morganwick My guess-Devils go to YES while the Fishsticks head to SNY when their contracts are up
