Jumpin' Jack Edwards can't contain himself for Bruins goal
Bostn Bruins play by play man Jack Edwards is cementing himself as one of the biggest characters in all of announcing. Rarely do we get a glimpse of the announcers themselves during an excitable moment in a game, but thankfully NESN had a camera fixed on Jack Edwards for one of those moments tonight. This NESN GIF of Edwards nearly leaping out of the booth with jubilation over the Bruins tying the Rangers in the final minute tonight is simply phenomenal.
I think Jack-o needs to show more excitement for his Bruins. He's really lacking in that hometown enthusiasm department.
If there's video of the measured, dispassionate goal call, we'll try and update if it comes along.

While Jack can be quite a homer, he can be equally effusive about another team's player (e.g. Ryan Miller). That said, I still think Dave Goucher on the radio side is a better all-around announcer.

I'm a pretty big Bruins fan, and can be a bit of a homer behind the mic when I'm doing pxp, as well (know your audience :) ). Sometimes, Jack can be more than a bit over the top.
