Rick Reilly summed up the Super Bowl as only Rick Reilly could
The nice thing about the NFL season coming to an end is Rick Reilly's essays will now be relegated to golf's majors and random events in between. His "Tale of Two Super Bowls" essay tries so hard to recapture the form of the backpage SI columnist who signed that multi million dollar mega contract with ESPN. And then his poetic waxing ends with a Beyonce quote because Rick Reilly can't stop being Rick Reilly.

There was a time Rick Reilly was great. That time was when I could read him, not watch and listen to him. This was reminiscent of his writing, but I still had to watch and listen to him. Ugh.
