This question, "How much do you blame Jay Cutler for RG III's injury," is so utterly useless it is causing me to physically lose brain cells by the second just contemplating how anyone could put those words together in that order and display it on national television. Blame Jay Cutler? As if Jay Cutler frowns and knee ligaments are shredded halfway across the country? Is everything in this country from RGIII's knee injury to the low approval rating of congress to the Kardashians somehow Jay Cutler's fault?
It is a question so ludicrously vapid, so unconscionably meaningless, that it makes any question ever asked about Tim Tebow on ESPN airwaves appear on the intellecutal level of string theory.

The question should be, "to what extend is ESPN to blame for RG IIIs knee injury becuase of the way in which Jay Cutler was treated by ESPN in the 2011 championship game?"
Just look at who is asking this question? You have a guy on this panel who blamed God for dropping a game winning TD. They are a joke.
In a related story, Cutler was quoted as saying, "I find your lack of faith... disturbing..."
It's not a question of being Cutler's fault. But there is a relevant story here. Mainly that the media (espn etc) blamed Cutler for not manning up and continuing to play in a playoff game with a knee injury (lcl in fact), and yet they're now blaming Shannahan and RG3 for doing exactly that. They can't have it both ways. Personally (in a playoff game or other elimination game) I think I'd rather have the QB that is willing to play through pain (or allow the QB to play through pain in the case of the coach) with a possibility of further injury (head injuries aside)

This might be the dumbest post in AA history. The question is poorly worded but it only takes a nanosecond to figure out that they are asking if the s-storm Cutler caught when he pulled out of the NFC Championship game effected the decision making this past Sunday.
The all-time dumbest question, although not ESPN originated, was when Doug Williams was asked how long he had been a black quarterback.
For the non-sport category I would go with, “If you were a tree what kind of tree would you be?” (Barbara Walters circa early 1980s)

Cutler took a LOT of heat, and still does, for coming out of the game with a hurt knee. He may not be directly responsible for RGII's injury, but call it the "Cutler Effect."

Not sure where you're from, but I've yet to come across a knowledgeable Bears fan who gives Cutler flack for being taken out of that game by his coaching staff.
The national media loves piling on the hate of Cutler, and society believes almost anything they hear. "Well, if they're saying it on the Booyah Network, it must be fact."
@AHrubec Cutler did and still does take flack for leaving that game. Although you are generally correct that Bear's fans in general are not the ones doing the blaming.
@AHrubec agreed. anyone who has ever watched one bears offensive series knows cutler takes hit after hit after hit and rarely complains. his toughness should never be questioned, nor should he be blamed for something as stupid as this. if shanahan didn't care to protect his franchise qb by pulling him, that's on him, regardless of rgIII wanting to play.
Cutler should just apologize now. That way we can move onto the next thing to blame him for.

If you read what is says under the question in the above photo, it obviously has to do with Cutler playing with the same injury. I doubt that RGIII took note of that as he tried to play with his bum knee last week, but I'm sure that's what espn was getting at. And if Charisa asks the question, does it really matter what the question is ?

I'm trying my hardest to top it, but I can't. On its surface, it's literally the most pointless question ever asked on ESPN. Did anyone watch the show so we can at least know what context it was asked in? There had to be some kind of context for it!!!

HAHAH! What a joke. What did ESPN think Cutler went Gulioly style on RGIII before the game. I may be stupider for reading that question but it was worth the morning laugh.
