This weekend, Saturday Night Live's opening sketch featured the two biggest sports stories of last week - Lance Armstrong and Manti Te'o. Both athletes (and Jodie Foster) were captured on Piers Morgan Tonight talking about the events that saw them dominate the headlines. The SNL version of Lance Armstrong seems to have some anger issues while their interpretation of Manti Te'o is one of a mindless dolt who could believe his girlfriend was shot into outer space. I'm not one who watches much SNL anymore these days, but it's definitely good for a few laughs. I'm willing to bet I learn more from SNL's interview with a fake Te'o than from an hour the linebacker spends with Katie Couric.
