Skip Bayless blames Dr. James Andrews for RGIII's knee injury?

Written by David Rogers on .

The debate over whether RGIII should have played in Sunday's game against Seattle won't end any time in the near future. Although the Redskins led the Seahawks 14-0, Griffin aggrivated a knee injury in the first half and left the game in the 4th Quarter after the knee gave out in an ugly looking way. Most Washington fans are upset with Mike Shanahan after Dr. James Andrews said he never cleared RGIII to come back in the first place after an injury in early December.

Then there's Skip Bayless, who blames ... Dr. Andrews himself? This is what Bayless tweeted after RG3 went down:

If Skip Bayless is to be believed, Robert Griffin III's knee physically went out because of doubts created in his mind via a quote from a physician on the sideline. During the game Bayless claimed that RGIII could still make plays even on one leg. Thus, Bayless admited RGIII had a legitimate injury, and supposedly not something dreamed in his head. Within the hour, Bayless then claimed Andrews was at fault for placing doubt in RGIII's mind with thoughts of an injury, seemingly denying the injury he noted earlier in the game.

You're only arguing with yourself now, Skip.

Skip Bayles is a certifiable moron. His whole career is made of him saying stupid things.

I pretty much ignore all ESPN programming that isn't actual coverage of a sporting event and I especially avoid anything in the Talk/Debate category.  Do shows such as First Take and Around the Horn have any real popularity or have any type of ratings?

I don't think these guys on these moronic shows believe what they are saying. Skip probably secretly hates Tim Tebow. When we were in high school and were learning about "debates" you know, real debates on things important to society, many of us had to argue a point we did not believe in just to hone our debate skills. I am quite sure many times Skip and Steven A. agreed on something but one then had to change their opinion to "embrace the debate." Otherwise they wouldn't be able to fill the six minute segments if they responded with "you're right." Skip is as big of an actor--taking on a role that has made him famous (somewhat) and has been very lucrative to him. Just like Glen Beck--he fools his audience into thinking they believe in what they say and it's all an act and the SHEEP in their respective audiences lap it up.

The majority of stuff that comes out of the mouth of Skip Bayless, is just ridiculous. There are times that Skip Bayless will say things just to be provocative, not substantive.
