Video: Ray Lewis gets the SNL treatment

Ray Lewis has been an obnoxiously huge part of the story of the upcoming Super Bowl. After he announced his retirement, he's tried his best to make his send-off into an inspirational epic a la Remember The Titans.

Saturday Night Live took a crack at having Kenan Thompson impersonate Lewis during the Weekend Update. Thompson has the head nod down, and that's pretty much it. The jokes, to me, made no sense. When Thompson starts talking about the Rockefeller Center "lake" he pretty much loses me. Aside from the dance at the end and the constant references to a higher power leading the Ravens to the Super Bowl, it didn't hit on anything Lewis is known for. Perhaps the whole skit is supposed to mock Lewis' mentally imbalanced state right now. I'll admit, the segment had me confused. Just imagine what's going to happen when Lewis takes his talents to ESPN.

He didn't even attempt to do Ray Lewis' voice. It was just Kenan Thompson doing Kenan Thompson's voice while wearing a Ray Lewis jersey and some eye black.

Is that what everyone is getting offended about? Jesus, grow some thicker skin people. They obviously were trying to reach out to some NEW female fans. This society is too damn sensitive about everything...
