Female CNN anchor's hot dog eating turns on male sports anchor?
Ah, baseball season. CNN's Carol Costello is traveling to various Spring Training sites across Arizona and Florida, and things got a little weird at the end of this segment with Carlos Diaz. Diaz asked Costello how many hot dogs she can eat in a nine inning game, and Costello answered "I think I can pack away about 12".
Diaz's response? "I'm suddenly impressed, and I'm not going to lie, a little turned on". I'm not sure why exactly Diaz is turned on... because of Costello's "one of the boys" ability to eat copious amounts of meat in a short time period, or because of the obvious sexual connotation involved.
The b/r logo spinning over Diaz's shoulder adds a certain layer of irony to it all, as does the fact CNN still happily has the video up on their YouTube page.
