For a variety of reasons, the NFL offseason is rarely dull. But the latest sharp story from the world of football (sort of) in May might be the strangest yet.

You know how it goes: Two NFL legends living in an affluent Los Angeles suburb take issue with a Canadian pop star.

See, TMZ reported on Tuesday that Keyshawn Johnson attempted to confront neighbor Justin Bieber after Bieber sped past Johnson and his son in his Ferrari at what Johnson deemed to be a dangerous speed:

We're told Keyshawn was furious — feeling Justin could've killed someone — so he brought his kid home, then chased after the singer in his Prius (yes, a Prius chasing a Ferrari).

When KJ got to Bieber's pad — he blocked Justin's Ferrari in the driveway and got out of his car to confront Justin face-to-face … but Justin ran inside of his house and refused to come out.

Bieber and Johnson both live in an exclusive gated community called The Oaks in Calabasas, which Forbes elaborates on here. Joining them, apparently, is Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson, who sided with Johnson in this super-awesome tweet:

I can't wait for September.
