lapham

When AJ Green caught a Hail Mary pass at the end of the Bengals-Ravens game on Sunday my first thought was how silly it was for the Ravens to tip the ball in the air for him to catch it and not knock it down.

My second thought was whether or not Dave Lapham made it through the play in the Bengals radio booth without having to be rushed to the hospital.

The former Bengals player and current radio analyst slash superfan is well known for his enthusiasm in the booth and screaming over the attempted play by play of his partner Dan Hoard.  The call of the Hail Mary certainly didn't disappoint as Lapham didn't offer words as much as he did excited yelling and jubilant chuckling.

Unfortunately for Cincinnati, they lost in overtime after a Justin Tucker field goal.  Lapham's call of that play wasn't quite as invigorating.
