Here in Columbus there has been an outpouring of support for WBNS sports anchor Dom Tiberi. His daughter died in a car accident September 17th and the anchor returned to work at 10TV this past week. Maria Tiberi was a 21 year old student at Ohio State and the school held a moment of silence before last week's game against Florida A&M for her.
At Saturday's Ohio State-Wisconsin game, an emotional scene unfolded where after the game nearly every member of the Ohio State football team came over to Tiberi at the stadium and gave him a hug. A small, simple gesture, yes, but one that has been lauded as one of the more touching three minutes you'll see this year.
