One of the most underrated parts of MLB Spring Training is the never-ending barrage of players doing impressions of ESPN MLB reporter Tim Kurkjian. When Baseball Tonight was at Rangers camp on Wednesday, Texas catcher J.P. Arencibia brought a spring tradition with him from the Blue Jays to the Rangers – his Tim Kurkjian impression. The impression gained popularity in 2012 and blew up in 2013, and once again popped up this year in a segment that featured John Kruk laughing too hard to even get a word in edgewise and Kurkjian getting exasperated at the impression continuing to live on.
If Arencibia has a bad year in 2014 and gets let go by the Rangers (like he did last year by Toronto), maybe he has a future career in trolling Kurkjian.
