Last month, Fox Sports Radio host and "actor" (we all remember Picture Perfect, right?) Jay Mohr and Alyssa Milano made a joint appearance at a NASCAR awards show in Las Vegas. You may remember Mohr's appearance for roasting Danica Patrick and Patrick shooting him with laser eyes. Now Mohr is involved in a real controversy.
Apparently the Fox Sports host had some less than flattering comments for Milano from the NASCAR appearance with some pretty offensive comments about her appearance. Via Radar Online:
After the event, Mohr told a radio show Milano’s “very tiny — in height — [but] it seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s***’ — I read it on her gut.”
He later said of the Who’s The Boss star, “Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.’”
Now, I am fairly certain that Jay Mohr has never birthed a human being and furthermore, he's not looking so hot himself these days. So what's his excuse?
Milano, for what it's worth, is far classier than I am, and responded via Twitter:
It's really unfortunate that Mohr felt the need to make comments about her weight. He should stick to making comments about things he has experience with, and weight gain/loss after having a child is not one of them.
It's just another sports shock jock saying something stupid and it'll be interesting to see if Fox has any comment about one of their radio hosts being involved in a celebrity feud of his own making.
For now, I hope Mohr's wife will give him an earful for this one.
If Jay thinks he is so funny, he should watch 5 minutes of Fashion Police and hear a bit of Joan River's humor, which is about as funny as Jay's wasn't at the NASCAR banquet, which I did watch. It's wasn't only what he said to Alyssa, his humor was cruel. For men who expect all women to get back to bikini shape in a specific time frame after having a baby, all women don't. Until you have a baby, be quiet about weigh. I guess because Jay has an 8 pack, he felt he had the right to make that comment, is that right???? Yeah, he's in Speedo shape, correct??? Get a mirror, Jay!!!
Jay reinforces the true adage that when you're too dumb to do anything else in life, you become a sports media hack.
I watched the NASCAR awards show, and I like a funny comedian, but Jay Mohr wasn't funny, he was mean spirited, and I mea Joan Rivers mean spirited.. Humor is not about mocking people and putting it under the guise of "humor:." Cruel and insulting comments aren't humor, they are men spirited insults! Even my husband found them to be mean, and he didn't like them either. Shame on you Jay Mohr, and maybe that's why you aren't in the public eye, too much, anymore! Perhaps he should change his jokes from Joan River's style!
Excellent job jumping to a conclusion about a human being over a news clipping you happened across without doing any digging of your own. Jay Mohr is a champion of gay rights and mental health, but, more relevant to this topic, he is a comedian. He said something to get a laugh, and it did. This is non issue and you are helping to stoke a fire that will inevitably blow out of proportion while insinuating that Jay is some monster for telling a joke. People, we have to stop making every issue a code red the minute we read it. Some things, really aren't, that big of a deal.
Jay Mohr absolutely has no right to be poking fun at another woman's appearance when his wife, Nikki Cox just about destroyed her looks (and career) by needlessly getting her lips inflated and God knows what else to her face.
@ChrisNH This is so true.
I guess if you're gay or mentally challenged, you might think Jay Mohr is funny.
