TSN is going about their Tradecentre show as usual on NHL trade deadline day. That means 10 hours of coverage, over 30 on-air personalities, and Brian Burke showing up with his tie off. Sometimes, it can get a little monotonous and time is needed to be filled.

Canada's Sports Leader appears to have found a solution for that in Lester McLean. He is, as described by the TSN website, a "singer, songwriter, saxophonist, TSN employee, and most importantly, big-time hockey fan." You cannot deny his credentials after hearing the tune he dropped in with about new Minnesota Wild goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov.

That's too perfect. McLean has featured some other songs, including one about needing an interview from Brian Burke on the TSN show (his wish was eventually granted). The only other currently available to us is this clever ditty about Martin St. Louis.

Gimmicky? Yeah. Silly? Sure. But hey, you've got 10 hours to fill, and these are fun. Good job by TSN to lighten things up a bit.
