The NHL is jumping right out of an Olympic break and headed straight into the stretch run. NBC, the NBC Sports Network and NHL Network are all deeply hoping that your Olympic goodwill won't have worn off as the league returns to action. March 1: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Chicago Blackhawks (at Soldier Field), 8 p.m. ET on NBC
The first scheduled primetime regular season NHL game on broadcast television in four decades is probably the perfect choice. Only 17 Olympians will be on the ice at the home of the Chicago Bears for the final game of the NHL's Stadium Series. Gold Medal winners Sidney Crosby, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith and Chris Kunitz will all be playing in what should be a made-for-TV no-brainer.no comments
