Skip Bayless is a master of his craft. That craft of course being trolling and the douchebaggery that goes along with such a skill. For reasons I find incomprehensible, he's given two hours each day to showcase his "talent" by antagonizing those in sports seemingly at random while competing in phony debates with imbeciles the caliber of Rob Parker. It's very rare that these "debates" ever conclude in anything other than nonsensical arguing and praising of the Jets backup QB.
Well, with the Tebow situation somewhat stable for the moment, it seems that Skip has decided that his next contrived controversy will focus on Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder have won 6 of their last 7 and currently hold the second best record at 40-13 in the NBA. Westbrook is averaging 24.4 PPG and shooting 48% from the field. Seems like everything is going well, right? According to Skip, of course that would be wrong because he's kind of an expert at these things because he was the next Maravich in high school and knows more than the NBA standings.
Unfortunately, it looks like Durant took the bait. He seems willing to go on First Take to defend Westbrook and the Thunder's play. You just can't feed the troll like that. Durant acknowledging Skip's wacky opinion in some sick way validates it. That means the absurdity of this "controversy" will continue. Arguments like this one and those that will happen in the future that take place no where else other than this two-hour block of hell on ESPN2 will still continue.
Kevin, do everyone a favor and don't feed the troll and go on First Take.
