Another Saturday is here so make sure you leave us your Pammies quotes either in the PWC comments below, or tweet us quotes by using the hashtag #PWAA.  Don't forget to include the announcer's name in the quote, after all, we need to know who to dignify and award valuable Pammies points to.  Matt Millen is staking out to an impressive early lead, can he keep it up?

Ted Robinson tonight in the 2nd quarter of the Houston at UCLA game said next weekend on the PAC 12 Networks PAC-10 Doubleheader and after telling us the 2 games, said only on the PAC 12 Networks!!!

I can honestly say I think Ray Bentley would be in the lead over Matt Millen if anyone could have heard how bad he was on the two Longhorn Network games. Here are some of the "highlights" from both Mark Neely and Ray Bentley during tonight's BYU at Utah game.

Bentley- "I think Houston Reynolds was originally on that team, and because he was injuryed, they had to find someone to run out."

Yes, Bentley really said injuryed, not injured.

Bentley- "I don't know. I think that was good football. I don't know. I don't want to see a flag on that play."

Bentley- "(referring to John White being out) I think not unless there's a phone booth nearby he can jump into."

Mark Neely- "Those guys are a couple of nightmares on Elm Street, the Kruger household."

Mark Neely- "Utah would at least like to make Utah punt it out of this end zone."

Really? Utah would like to make themselves punt out of the end zone?

Mark Neely- "Now, let's send, what, where, oh, to the studio for the Halftime Break."

The nightmare continued during the second half, but I couldn't keep a pen up fast enough to right down just how horrid they were. You can always try and bear it tomorrow on ESPN3, but these two need some massive improvement. If anyone had LHN and submitted lines, Bentley would be the runaway winner and Neely would probably be 3rd (Millen would be 2nd).

@DanielOrmsby Just checked ESPN3 and with the exception of the spring game, they don't archive games from Longhorn Network.

@crippenstation I never said ESPN archived LHN games. LHN is treated as separate ESPN entity. I said they should add LHN games to ESPN3 for areas where they don't get LHN, like when New Mexico and Wyoming were shown on LHN this year.

@DanielOrmsby I wasn't referring to the new ESPN3 shift to exclusive programming but the blackout system they've been using for years now.  Yes, it usually works correctly.  I was just mentioning that sometimes there's a little glitch in the system and I get blacked out when I shouldn't be.  I will say this though: sometimes I am supposed to be blacked out and I'm not.  Happiness!

I've yet to see these kind of glitches with the new blackouts, so could this mean the old blackouts are fixed?  We'll see.

@crippenstation The blackout system on ESPN3 does work, as they force you to watch it on local cable if you have the game and don't have Watch ESPN available from your provider. Heck, I've even had CSS games blacked out here in Odessa (Texas Tech at Texas A&M Corpus Christi), and we don't even have CSS available here.

@DanielOrmsby I understand they want to increase demand for the Longhorn Network, but I do agree with you.  Maybe have it blacked out in Texas and available to the rest of the country.  That could work.

That's of course presuming the blacking out system works right.  Living in Nebraska I've been blacked out of several SEC games (various sports) when I wasn't supposed to.  MLB.tv is guilty of this too, but it's still annoying to be blacked out of something you shouldn't be.

@DanielOrmsbyDanie they eren't nearly as bad in the2ndhalf, from what i could tell.

@CUbsfan I agree they weren't as bad, but there were so many horrible cliches during the game that if I hadn't fallen asleep for a 5 minute stretch of the 3rd quarter, I would probably have listed a lot more from those two. I know they were just as bad during Week 1 from the 2 minutes I listened to the game on Week 1, which is why I say Bentley would probably be in the lead had anyone endured them during the entire Wyoming at Texas and UNM at Texas showdowns.
