Bob Bender
Bob Bender has been a sports radio producer since graduating Penn State University in 2005. Currently, he's the Supervisor of Sports Production at CBS Radio Sports/Westwood One where he works on the network's coverage of the NFL, NCAA Football, NCAA Tournament and PGA. Previously, he was a producer and update anchor for the Major League Baseball Radio Network at Sirius-XM.
In 2011, Bender created Press Box Daily. He's always enjoyed bantering about broadcaster's styles, strengths and shortcomings, so, scribbling about the subject made perfect sense. Some of his favorite broadcasters include Vin Scully, Marv Albert, Dan Shulman, Gary Cohen, Dan Patrick, Matt Vasgersian, Mike Emrick and Kevin Harlan. He tends to cringe when he's forced to tune into Dick Stockton, Suzyn Waldman, Chip Caray, Bryant Gumbel, Walt Frazier or anyone associated with the X-Games.
Bender lives in New York with his girlfriend, who usually relinquishes the remote whenever there's a big game on television, which, according to him, is always.
